This poll closes in about 14 hours :o so you better get your votes in now!
The results will be published tomorrow after "Wheels" ends.
Based on the success of this poll, I'm thinking of doing another one when the first 13 episodes are out, with just the songs from 9-13
Tell me what you think!
'Glee' Dancer is Waiting For His Close-Up
Harry Shum, Jr. isn't one of the main characters on 'Glee.' He hasn't yet had a solo. But if you've been watching FOX's prime time musical, we guarantee you haven't missed Shum's pop and lock dance moves. We spoke to TV's most unmissable background player about snagging the role of Mike Chang on 'Glee' and what's coming up on the show.
On the oft-repeated fan question - are the actors really singing on the 'Glee' soundtrack?: "Everyone, when they auditioned, had to audition with singing as well. As you saw on the World Series - they did that thing live. I think that kind of answered the question ... It's pretty much everyone singing. When we did the Nelly cover, 'Ride With Me,' that was recorded live. That was the whole point - [showrunner Ryan Murphy] wanted to get the chill vibe, that spur-of-the-moment singing."
On skills beyond his obvious dancing abilities: "I do sing as well, and I used to do musicals when I was a kid. Now [singing] is becoming the other arsenal that I'm working on."
On getting the role of Mike Chang: "I didn't really know what the show was, in the beginning. I heard it was a show Ryan Murphy was doing, so I knew it was going to be great writing. In the audition process, I had to do a reading and also sing. And dancing - I had a resume of dancing, so luckily that helped me get pushed through. Now, I didn't expect this crazy hype. I just fell into it and I'm so excited to be part of this. "
On the success of 'Glee' songs beyond the broadcast: "I heard that a lot of the originals are making their way back - that's great. A lot of the parents are bringing back the originals and their kids are singing the 'Glee' version. It's a really cool way for them to connect ... Neil Diamond actually tweeted something like, 'Who's this Puck guy, he sounds amazing.' That's crazy. Neil Diamond!"
On his favorite dance routines: "The mashups were the most fun, since we each got to play a different character - we were supposed to be on 'Vitamin D' - a little drugged up. It was fun playing that, we got a different emotion out of that, and I got to really do my thing and kind of get crazy with it ... We get to do some crazy stuff in the coming episodes that everyone's going to enjoy."
On getting his own storyline in the future: "There are so many characters... and we came in a little later. Even now, some of the cast members that are the regulars are still getting their storylines. Right now, they're developing our characters but making sure everyone gets their time. I think what's great is that the writers are slowly filling everyone out. They know what they want to do - and they also don't know what they want to do - I think it's going to take time for all the characters to develop. I'm looking forward to it."

'Glee' Cast Dish on Musical Influences, Satan's Gift to Earth
by Michael D. Ayers
With the arrival of 'Glee: The Music, Volume 1' last week, fans got a chance to get their hands on the entire cast recordings of the hit series music in one handy dandy place. And by iTunes sales alone, we know that their rendition of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin',' 'Defying Gravity' from the Wicked Score and Queen's 'Somebody to Love' are resonating quite well with Gleek Nation. But what are the Glee stars themselves in to these days? We'll give you some hints: someone's a huge Britney Spears fan, there's a love for Beyonce, Michael Jackson was a cast member's childhood alias and one cast member cites Bob Dylan as a recent favorite. If that's not enough, you'll definitely want to know whose favorite concert was metal act Pantera, of which it was described to us as "Satan's gift to earth."
Watch our exclusive video for the answers to these questions and more details on the musical influences from the entire Glee cast after the jump.
Source. There's also a cute photo gallery at the link.
How adorable was Mark Salling talking about Pantera? Why did my paid account expire today? (WOE!) I had the perfect icon for this post! And aww, Heather is awesome for surprising Amber with Beyonce tickets! When Jenna was going on about bubblegum pop, I thought she was going to throw in NLT. Heh.

Baby-faced Chris Colfer leaps into 'Glee,' his acting target
By Donna Freydkin, USA TODAY
NEW YORK — Chris Colfer can relate to many of the quirks of his Glee character, Kurt Hummel. His fixation on fashion isn't one of them.
"I get all my clothes from Target. That's my favorite store. The ladies who dress us on the show always make fun of me for it," he says.
Style differences aside, the baby-faced California native, 19, harmonizes perfectly on Fox's Glee (Wednesday, 9 p.m. ET/PT) as an often arrogant, surprisingly sweet gay high schooler who dreams of musical stardom. The show, about a group of jocks and misfits in a glee club, is one of the fall's biggest, most hummed-about hits.
"The show has struck a chord with an audience that never had anything to relate to before. I know personally, because I am that audience, I'm one of those kids," Colfer says. "It's the first time that the performing arts have been put in a good light and been encouraged. And yes, there are still virgins in this world, and our show is full of them."
Like Kurt, Colfer was an outsider in high school, hanging out mostly with the lunch ladies. He was involved in the writing club and theater. And, like Kurt, "I'm very competitive, but I don't think I'm superior to anyone. I'm just this wimp."

From Kristin Dos Santos: Last night I hit up a secret screening of the next episode of Glee, and scored scoop from the cast and creative team on the show's romantic entanglements, Madonna and more. So who's on Team Puck? Team Finn? What evil things is Rachel up to? Click here to see the interviews with Jenna, Chris, Kevin and the producers/writers and read the rest of her scoop.
SPOILERS on the E! Online site for 'Wheels' and future episodes. (sorry, embedding isn't working)
Kristin really enjoys stirring up the shipper wars, eh? :\ Can we all just take a deep breath and remember that Glee is supposed to make us feel joy, not resentment or anger towards our fellow fangirls/boys? :)

From the Chicago Tribune (the source contains the same clips we've watched of the episode but beware of spoilers just in case).
You have to appreciate the diabolical cleverness of the Fox network.
Its flagship program, "American Idol," has been softening in the ratings for the past few years. It's still the Death Star of television, but "Idol" is no longer getting the kind of ratings that cause executives at rival networks to spend their days under their desks, weeping over the latest Nielsen numbers.
But now Fox has "Glee" (8 p.m. Central Wednesday, WFLD-Ch. 32; three stars) which may not have an "Idol"-sized audience but is an unqualified hit, especially among the 18-34 demographics that advertisers (and television networks) prize. And "Glee," which follows the progress of a rag-tag high school show choir, is a program that has learned the lessons of "Idol" well.
Though it's a scripted show, "Glee" does what "Idol" does at its best: It creates moments of pure enjoyment. When a performer bristling with potential sings a good song really well, the result is exhilarating, uncomplicated pleasure.

You may not know all their names, but if you've been watching 'Glee,' you know who they are: The kids in the Glee Club have shot to stardom right along with their new hit show.
And it's not because they've got distinctive nicknames like "Wheels," "The Asian Girl," "The Cute One" and "The Hot Guy With the Mohawk" ... or because they're all talented singers and dancers. The cast members of 'Glee' are energetic, funny and a genuine kick to be around, as we learned when they visited the AOL offices to hang out with us (jealous?) and answer fan questions.
